While using the theme [Sydney], I found that the search function in the [bbPress] forum was not working.
Even if I search in the forum, the articles posted normally will be searched.
Now that we have resolved it, follow the steps below.
Preparation of child theme
I will omit how to make it, but I will make a child theme of Sydney.
This article treats it as [sydney-child], but please read it according to your environment.
Extract files from bbPress template
Move from within the bbPress directory to the following directory:
bbPress >> templates >> default >> bbpress
There is a file [content-search.php] in this.
Copy this.
Paste the file into the child theme
Paste the file you copied earlier [content-search.php] into the child theme.
Upload to server
Upload the [content-search.php] added to the child theme to the server.
Search by bbpress …
Only in the forum will be searched.
